A Hands-On Practical Learning Site at the Source of Penchala River, Bukit Kiara

The setup of an “Open Classroom” at the source of Sungai Penchala in Bukit Kiara was aimed to promote hands-on learning and a long term monitoring site that can be utilized by the public. Launching was officiated by the National Landscape Department of Malaysia together with DID (Malaysia) and SPARK Foundation on 7th November 2015, attended by 25 community participants and representatives from stakeholders. The open classroom hosted edcuational and fun River Walk sessions, encompassing four unique stations that characterise the river body:
