  Sungai Senam

Sungai Senam is the shortest tributaries among the 3 tributaries selected, with length of 3.4 km. Sungai Senam is now a channelized river receiving effluent discharged from residential area and commercial area along its way where it ends in Taman Ipoh Selatan. Landuse along Sungai Kledang mainly comprised of residential housing and commercial areas. So, we can tell the main pollution sources contributing to the degradation of Sungai Senam as sewage from residential area and commercial area flow freely into Sg Senam.

In addition, another pollution concern of Sg Senam is solid waste issue. In some stretches of Sg Senam, rubbish were seen discarded in the drain and were found floating on the surface of the drain.
